Ariane Carpentier is a photographer based in Paris who specializes in portraiture, documentary, and nude photography. With a background in cinema and audiovisual arts, she studied at Gobelins, école de l'image, where she refined her skills in photography and videography. Her inspiration is drawn from art, encounters, environment, and society. Her work is centered around the human being, nature, and the body. The artist focuses on social issues that hold significance to her, utilizing a combination of portraiture, documentary, and the human being. Instead of employing conventional documentary methods, she opts to involve her subjects in a joint endeavour, leading to a genuinely cooperative outcome.
